On June 23, 2025, in Hanoi, the Polytechnic College of Engineering and Technology (CTECH) and Hai Phong Group officially signed a memorandum of understanding with Hokuto Cultural Academy (Japan) and the Tokyo Medical and Healthcare Business Products Cooperation Association.
This agreement marks a strategic advancement in the effort to internationalize Vietnam’s nursing education model — aligning with Japanese standards while remaining closely connected to the country’s domestic healthcare context.

Under the partnership, the parties will implement the Self-Reliance Support Nursing Education Program in Vietnam — a modern and comprehensive training model. Students enrolled in the program will undergo 2.5 years of specialized study at CTECH, followed by 6 months of hands-on training aligned with Japanese standards, guided directly by international experts. Upon completion, students will simultaneously receive a formal Associate Degree in Nursing, a certificate for the “Basic Self-Reliance Care Course,” and attain a Japanese language proficiency level of N3 or higher — fully prepared to work in hospitals, nursing homes, or care facilities both in Japan and in Vietnam.

Partnering with prestigious institutions from Japan not only reinforces CTECH’s strategic vision and standing in vocational education but also reflects the school’s strong commitment to standardizing its training programs in line with international benchmarks. As Vietnam enters a phase of population aging, the demand for well-trained, self-reliant, and compassionate nursing professionals has become more critical than ever.

This event also exemplifies the sustainable development and integration direction of CTECH and Hai Phong Group — two pioneering entities in building connections among educational institutions, businesses, and international organizations to create effective, practical, and humane training models. Moreover, it opens new doors for CTECH nursing students to access diverse career opportunities, holistically develop their skills, and demonstrate their competence on the global stage.
